The upholstered headboard is very pretty and I like the wall color. The room has the potential to be a lovely, well done space but is missing on a few points. Are you amenable to some well meant suggestions?

The main thing that's hurting this lovely space, is that TV, in the corner, on that dark console w/all of those wires! Mount the tv on the wall or in between the two windows. (they actually have a thing that will conceal it while not in use). when you want to watch while in bed, swing it out towards you. push back when not in use. drop the cords down into the wall or bring up an outlet to sit directly behind the tv.

You bed is nice, but the comforter is too small. either get a neat boxspring/mattress cover, or get a larger comforter that covers that end of the bed.

Irene posted some beautiful examples that you could do. any of those in her pictures would be great for your room

Put a small bench between the windows.

if you don't hang your tv there, hang a nice piece of artwork. Rather than mini blinds, get some roman shades or woven woods.

notice the bed linens in all of these pics. you should never see your sheets unless it's near the pillows.
