Off white trim and cabinets...gray wall color?

Hello,

We are purchasing a house that has off white trim and cabinets. My current house has white trim and light gray walls. I’d love to paint the walls a gray or a greige color but am feeling stuck with the off white palette of the cabinets and trim. The cost to repaint the trim and cabinets would be astronomical so I’m hoping I can find a color to compliment the existing off white.

We are installing wood flooring everywhere in a traditional dark brown color.

There are so many choices of colors...please consider other colors besides gray or greige.....having just been in a house with a medium gray living room, the room look dreary. Look at fabric and wallpaper samples for ideas on color combinations that appeal to you..or other sites on Houzz.

How about a light blue with a grey tone?

By the way, I love your large windows and glass cabinets!

My niece has painted cabinets, walls & trim all the same color in both upscale homes she has owned. It does come off very uniform & soothing. Uses artwork, etc. for color pops.

I think you need to wait until you are in before choosing colors for walls.

Give the SW blue gray a try. We have a similar shade for our L shape liv/din room.

Here is my challenge: I want to try a neutral color to go with SW Alabaster. Going with an earthly look as my counters are green. Just removed old wallpaper.

Will be doing Alabaster for trim and cabinets in kitchen. Keeping my green counters (dark). Considering SW Popular Gray, Versatile Gray, Agreeable Gray, Anew Gray, Alpaca, Requisite Gray, Also considering Hallman Lindsay in 0210, 0211,0229, 0230, 0203. Looking for the right shade to agree with my warm floors, white cabinets, and green counter tops. Thanks for the advice.
