I am not sure how an integrated sink would work with natural stone like quartzite. Perhaps the quartz, engineered stone, had the integrated sink?

I agree, quartzite tends to have more veining than quartz. Taj and some pearls ones have less movement.

Could you post a picture of what you like?

For white counters, I would choose Calacatta quartzite, first two pictures or Macaubus quartzite third and fourth pictures. I think these are both the same stone cut differently to reveal a different veining pattern. I hope this helps.

Although Karran, the Edge series stainless steel and quartz sink manufacturer doesn't recommend the procedure, I'd install either one in an engineered stone top without a second thought.

Joe many of the manmade products are gorgeous. If she wants a shallow sink, they do integrated sinks, but I cannot imagine the nightmare of keeping a white marble sink clean. My sister used a manmade product in her Florida condo and I could not tell the difference. But she had an undermount sink.

Yes, but you're going to have to get a fabricator unafraid to break the rules.

Those people are probably hard to find. I'm just not a fan of ss sinks. I have a copper sink now but wanted to try something different.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm looking for a countertop slab for a conventional undermount sink, so I was just curious about that integrated sink being made of quartzite (sounds like it wasn't). I know I won't keep it pristine, so a white one that's stain resistant would be great. Otherwise I am thinking honed quartzite or honed Carrara marble. I did see a Silestone extreme white one that is very pretty in the pics but I wonder what it would look like after a few years. (Yellowing? Scratches? Stains?)
