Wow, gorgeous. Bought a couple Gervarse's that are slow growing compared to the rest of my bulbs. Can't wait for mine to bloom. Wish I bought Sweet Nymph, it's somewhat expensive.

Gervase really seemed to like brighter light, now that the afternoon light is once again hitting my west window, it started putting up stalks pretty quickly. It just kind of sulked before that.

I deffo recommend Sweet Nymph. The first flower scape she sent up was short and so-so (in early january), but the second and third (in february) were both tall and the blooms were gorgeous.

Those are so beautiful - I bet they made your Valentine's day even more special Sylv!

My gervase is playing dead right now - bulb still looks healthy but its not doing a thing. Hopefully mine gets triggered by the longer days as well!

I missed it too and now I can see the tail of something cute laying on the bed like he owns it, which I'm sure he does....!! I just looked again and now can see the ears and one leg!! That one got by most of us animal sleuths! Good eyes, Hans-Werner!!

Thank you for responding. I believe THIS Kind of OT will bother no-one, if not even the contrary. NOW I wonder whether Sylv Taylor WILL confirm the "pug" or rather correct me, to "bulldog" or, if not even more likely, a "bulldog mix".

She's actually a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Basenji/Pitt cross, but everyone thinks she's a puggle! She's our service dog and loves plants (but will not touch them if I tell her 'don't touch' or 'leave it'). She is also, despite being very small, a 50-lb tank who can pull me in my wheelchair for very long distances without getting tired. <3

As you can see, butt-bombing my photos is something she does.

What a cutie pie :-))) If I saw her on the street, it would take all my efforts not to stoop down and give her a bunch of snoot kisses...I'm kinda crazy like that :-))))
