Jumping the gun...?

With unusually warm temps and a pretty nice forecast would It be a bad idea to go ahead and get started on a few early spring plants? I know the average frost date and we are a few weeks off but with all the sunshine I’m getting a little stir crazy! Opinions!?

In my vegetable garden, I planted potatoes yesterday and Green Garden Peas today.

LOL Jodi. I am an older gardener and just stick to normal planting dates. In years past I have knowingly planted/or started seeds early but it ended up too much extra work. Personally, I don't think there was any advantage as the plants tend to grow when the time is right and later plantings catch up. Jodi, I have no interest in having the first ripe tomato to brag about because each climate is so much different . The first ripe tomato on any forum is not important information IMO. The quality is.
