I have a three year old lemon tree grown from seed. It had been doing great up until about 4 months ago when it developed a bad case of (what I believe were) spider mites. I purchased a miticide, treated the tree, and the mites went away. Hooray! However, a couple on months later, my tree started dropping leaves like crazy (3-4 big leaves per day). I got some citrus tree fertilizer (had never fertilized my tree before), now new leaves are growing quite well and the leaf dropping has slowed dramatically. However, now a bunch of leaves are drying out and developing these huge orange-ish splotches! Anyone seen this before?

This is my first lemon tree I've grown so I don't know a whole lot about them. Honestly didn't even think it would get this far as I live in the cold Midwest (it is indoors most of the year) but now that it's made it this far, I am quite fond of the thing and want to keep it healthy and strong!

Note that the splotches are MOSTLY on the side facing the window -- the other side has a grow light shining on it during the day. However, it has been in this exact spot ever since I brought it in for the winter (September-ish), so I don't believe it would be light related....
