Base cabinet height

Hi! I see that you did 42" upper, 12" glass top, 4" crown molding. How high is your base cabinet? If the base cabinet height is 36", that leaves 14" between the counter top and upper cabinet. I want do do a similar design but worried about having enough height.

Hi Daniel! Thank you for your question. We keep our backsplash reveal at 18". Our upper cabinets with crown are 54" and our base cabinets are 36". Hope this helps! Best of luck on your project!

What are the sizes of the stacked upper cabinets? Are they 36" + 12"?? Thanks!

They mentioned earlier "The upper cabinets are 42", glass cabinets are 12" and the crown is 4"." The crown must come down on the top cabinet some and is at an angle toward the ceiling, so it essentially becomes part of the 54". Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!!

Hi Did you ever get a reply to your question. I have the same dilemma right now. Want to possibly add 12" of cabinet or molding to meet my 9' Ceiling. Concerned molding trim will 12" will be to wide - are these 12" cabinets with crown 4" angled. ?? Any help or ideas and or pictures to help.

Measure the height of your tallest countertop appliance and leave enough space between cabinet and counter.

Hi, I think my question may not have been clear. I currently have 42" with 9' ceiling, We are refacing front cabinetry -so I would like to replace my current 3" molding and go all the way to ceiling. But that is 12" - ( to add 12" trim molding may not look good). In the picture photo are the top cabinets 12" with a 4" trim ( somehow angled to work with the 12" cabinet?) I am now considering adding a 12" cabinet to meet the ceiling, ( and trying to figure out how to also add a trim molding) :)
