We have a lake Home facing the south so we get a lot of sun. I have an open concept look with a large window facing the south in the living room and another large on the east wall. Home Depot suggested cellular shades to block the sun and provide insulation from the cold Minnesota winters. However, I’m thinking they will block the view too much and may look too formal in our somewhat rustic looking lake home. I’m looking t roller shades with 3% opening but am wondering if that would block the sun enough. Or should i go with cellular ? Any suggestions
