Just hang a nice picture over the toilet. You need towels, too.

I would do large towels in white and layer in smaller hand towels in light blue or some sort of mint/teal shades to give it that beachy feel

Just re-did a major reno in our kids bathroom....our home is 168 yrs. old so anything too modern obviously doesn[t fit with the vintge but yet we wanted an updated look too....love the French Upcountry.....we painted the top of the walls with Lowe's Valspar "Morning Fog"....love it....the bottom part of the walls is painted white....wanted simple white subway tiles around the tub/shower area....our floor is marble hexagon (in keeping with the house age) in greys/tan/white....it looks very "beachy" and has such a clean look....I went with grey towels in ours along with a large size knubby bath mat....there is a place in town that makes the most wonderful soap that is SO beautifully scented....so ....the one I chose because it had all the colours of the room in it smells like baby powder....such a fresh, clean scent everywhere upstairs....our pictures came from Bouclair....I think I paid around $10 each for them....

I would take out the shower sliding glass door and put up a rod so that you can have a fun print shower curtain. It would be easier to get in and out and add color. I would add a complementary floor mat and call it a day!

Boo- Hiss on taking out the shower glass door. Glass trumps plastic anyday!
