I agree with the comment above, it’s not terrible, not great...I would definitely not work with that contractor again if that’s how it was handled. I am sorry you had a bad experience! I think the tiles themselves are pretty though, love the color and layout choices.

A far-below-average job. Lots of tile lippage, and the grout work is pathetic on the white tiles. The installer either mixed the grout too thick, let it set in the pail too long, and/or spent too little time and effort when sponging off the excess.

Not a great job but not worth ripping out. Accept it, and never work with that contractor again.

I am sorry this didn’t work out. It is difficult when you are spending a fortune. It looks okay and I also went through same experience with a contractor. I opted to accept a bunch of sloppy work as wanted them out of my life, yet ensured I wrote reviews with houzz, Angie’s list and the better business bureau. The reviews reflected the poor communication and not fabulous job.

Average mid grade builder acceptable work. Which, if you paid the average 5-7K per wet area, and it was waterproofed properly, is par C level for the course. If you paid less, and the waterproofing was done correctly, then you got a bargain. If you paid 7-10K for exemplar Houzz level work, then you have a legitimate gripe in that the walls should have had work before the tile ever went up.

What waterproofing system was used? Do you have in progress pictures?
