if you have a top loading machine you could use Dawn dish soap if you’re in a pinch at the moment. But not in a front loader, it would cause nothing but a major suds issue.

There isn't a corner convenience store up the block to fetch a bit of Tide or whatever you normally use?

I live in the middle of nowhere and my cars out of commission. There's one market but they know they can charge whatever they want and laundry detergent is the worst. Last time I checked a regular tide was $28. Yes, you read that right.... $28. Walmart trip tomorrow, I can wait

I googled it out of curiosity and the market is 1.5 miles away. Not. Bad workout if it wasnt such a rip off and it wasn't raining!

I use shampoo on delicates such as wool sweaters. But that won't really clean stained or very "dirty" clothes.

I buy baking soda in bulk now a day's bc I use it for everything! And of course I was out of that too haha. I have a front loader which seems to be quite limited compared to top loaders.
