Tamarix aphylla can get to 60' according to online sources and has been planted in the SW US, and though it hasn't become the problem invasive there that some of the smaller species of Tamarix have, it has become a problem in parts of Australia. I wonder if the tamarisk leaf beetle will eat these if they are in the same area.
