Hello,

We are in the process of designing a home to be built on a hilltop that while it has a great city view, also commonly has strong winds, simply due to the topography and climate.

We would like to do everything we reasonably can to minimize the wind noise inside the house, specifically in the bedrooms. We deal with some of this in our current home, with a lot of roof noise, wood creaking during strong gusts, windows whistling, etc.

I am curious to any design guidelines from the community that may be able to help, given we have an opportunity to affect the new design.
