Need Advice w/ Lights

Would love to hear thoughts/advice on lighting in our emerging kitchen. We are wired for 3 pendants over island, however, I am having trouble landing on a style that really moves me. This is open to living room and dining room to the right in photo. We are building this house ourselves and I have spent way too much time on this one element. Help!

Here are a couple of options in keeping with your modern kitchen. I think I'd go for two pendants and three counter/bar stools.

I would just go with the two as suggested because with three they would have to be the slim tiny ones and then they will really pop with two bigger ones. And yes the Gold would help warm up and brighten the space.

The island is 8’4” x 4’5”. Quartz is Lusso, paint is Agreeable Gray and backsplash is bright white glass subway tiles. I like the suggestion to use gold/champagne color over island pendants as there are gold flecks in quartz. Was worried about introducing given stainless appliances & brushed nickel faucet. Appreciate all your comments and input.

What about a light sort of like these? I'm sure there are several different options other than this wood on the inside and what appears to be metal on the outside, and obviously tons of different shapes.

These are the lights we went with. Electrician needs to make a little more even. Thanks, I think the gold tone does provide some warmth. Thanks all.
