Design Dilemma Basements Paint

industrial look for basement

I am looking for urgent help with a paint color for my husband's idea of an industrial looking basement. There are three elements he is designing around. A light fixture, a floor tile, and a sofa table/bar. I don't feel like white walls are the right direction to go. Would someone help us figure out a wall color? This whole look is new to me. Thanks!

By the way, my basement is unfinished, so the furniture / wall color / rug are not mine. I just chose pics off the internet

Tidbits from Houzz articles [called Stories] - If you prefer whites with a little more substance, check out Sherwin-Williams’ Alabaster. This neutral white doesn’t veer too far to the warm or cool side and pairs nicely with pretty much any other color.

Cappuccino White from Glidden is a creamy white that works best with warm hues. Here it contrasts with the room’s dark brown accents. It’s a good choice if you need to boost the light in a space, as it mimics the warm glow you get from a sunny day.
