Exterior - windows/door/paint

Considering going with the new trend of black windows...but with this would come with a myriad of changes. Our windows are about 25 years old, so getting close to needing replaced. Thoughts? Any design applications on the iPhone that could do this for me?

I am not sure that black fits with the colonial style home.

That definitely a bit more common combo. I am not a fan of painted bricks and I actually like the color or your home. Are you just trying to spice it up a bit? How about some shutters and maybe a portico?

I like the idea of a portico. Definitely looking for a spruce up, and the problem is that we are going to need new windows at some point, and I don’t love the tan trim/windows now. So before we spend a lot of money on windows/doors, I want to decide on an overall design before I start making choices that I will regret.

Stick with earth tones, black is to much, and you'd be crazy to paint IMO .

Find the Windows you want then see what colors are available, if in doubt paint an old window first to see if the color works.
