hello all!! I just started a mammoth sunflower in little jiffy pots and it is time to repot!! now, here's my dilemma: I'm in Vegas and the temps are still under 55 occasionally so my fear is to repot in my tall 12 in pot and dies from Frost's. now, I do have an indoor grow light but the tall pot is just too big for the area and still isn't close enough to the light. I can repot in a smaller container now until the frost has passed, but then I would have to repot again in about a month or two. would that drastically stunt it's growth by repotting in such a short time??

option 1: repot in large container outdoors with frost dangers
option 2: repot in smaller container(7in pot) close to indoor grow light with a repot in final container outdoors in 1-2 months

what do y'all think?
