Bathroom Update

I bought my house 2 years ago and I’m finally doing some minor updates. I bought new and put in basics cause it’s cheaper to do some things yourself. I am changing my bathroom mirrors to framed mirrors. My question is how do I measure or know what size/shape mirror to get. I have also changed my cabinet knobs and Towel bars/rings to brushed Nickel. Is it necessary to change my faucet and light fixtures too or can I have mixed metal finishes. I have three bathrooms as pictured below for mirror suggestions. Thanks in advance!

This last picture with the white towel is a double vanity bathroom but they are directly across from one another not side by side.

Hi,

Measure the width of your vanity for some kind of guidance on the size of the mirror... I would install it a few inches above the stone backsplash (4”-6”). I think a round or a hexagonal mirror will look great in your bathrooms. It’ll be a change from the existing mirror wall look as well.

For finish - I would do a black / dark wood frame around the mirror, if you are able to find it.

How wide and tall should the mirrors be? Should I stick to the same color as the vanity? One vanity is white and I have a very light beige tile.

You can certainly mix the metals. Brushed nickel looks fine with what you already have.
As for mirror size, I would get a mirror that starts a few inches above the counter, ends right below the lights, and is about 75% the width of the counter. But, before you buy one, you might try removing the current mirror and cutting out paper in The shape/size you think will work and see how it fits in that spot.

Mirro finish - Matching the vanity might be tough (is it black or some kind of wood) so you can do a store bought black frame or a dark wood frame. Take a look at west elm, CB2 they have options and sizes.

For the master, which has the white vanity... depends on your style. You can do a black frame to add an element of black and white (some people love it and some don't. It also depends on the overall style of the house). If you don't want the black, then you can consider, White frame, stainless steel or frame less.

Thanks. The white vanity is the bathroom off my family room on the entry level (the one that gets used by guests) my master and the other bedroom have the brown vanities. I’m currently changing my lights faucets and towel bars all to the same finish- brushed nickel.
