what fertilzer?

I am a first time Pea grower and I started some off in peat pellets and just transferred them to the containers they are going into. I am aware that they do not need nitrogen like other plants. after transplanting I used some 3.4.4 on them but it doesn't seem to be helping at all.. maybe to low? what do I need to use on these babies?

and how often to use it?
