I’ve had this Areca palm for a year and about 6 months in started battling one infestation after another. Aphids, mites,scale. I’ve tried soapy water and pesticide spray but nothing lasts longer than 3 weeks before they return. I don’t want this to start spreading to my other houseplants since I have quite a collection. Any advice? Should I give up on it? It is so beautiful and seems otherwise healthy, in just tired of battling the bugs! Thanks!
