My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

The problem with HGTV: Exhibit A (warning this is snarky)

About a year and a half ago, a group of "celebrity" HGTV designers were let loose on this stunning piece of property. Here in Ontario, these types of shows are heavily subsidized through labour tax credits. This house is full of every imaginable gee-gaw available at your local Homesense, Big Box sponsor store or Wayfair. Is there any trendy item they forgot to include?

    I thought I was deeply disturbed before looking at that. Now I need a shrink appointment. Where did it all go wrong? Why isn't there a trapeze to reach the top shelves of the book case?
