No matter how much you learn, it's always good to go back and brush up on some of the basics. I am not a geneticist (far from it), but in retrospect, that's the field I should have pursued, alas.

Why am I posting this? Well, being that I dabble in hybridizing of plants people are often asking me questions about it, line breeding, etc. I think for anyone here that is curious as to say, why Rinoa or Mr. Ko pursues crossing plants that are much alike, such as dark reds with other dark reds, you might better understand where they are trying to go with this over time.
