Beautiful fruit Bob. Enjoy!

They are kind of reddish inside and very juicy, you eat one and you are done for the day. A navel is a navel seems like they all taste the same, no surprise but very good.

Very nice, Bob! You fruit beats the store bought fruit in size and taste, I am sure. I love Navel oranges. This year I really enjoyed California navel oranges from grocery store, they are kind of more flavourful and sweeter this year. I have been buying them non stop.

I have about a dozen "Red Navels", aka Cara Cara; and I think they are the best orange in the world today. Mine are all on Macrophylla, which makes a bigger tree and they produce prodigiously, the whole year. Interesting historical note: The orange is a sport discovered at the Cara Cara plantation in Venezuela; I have visited there. At the plantation they call it a red navel, as they do in Florida and a few other places; the rest of the world knows it as Cara Cara, named after the place where it was discovered. The first time I tasted a CC, I didn't even know what it was; but I knew immediately that I had to have it.

I'd be curious how they compare to the Sky Valley Heirloom Navels that we can get from Trader Joe's.
