These are wood and if you are placing them outdoors, you will need to thoroughly seal them with a polyurethane sealer and maintain that.. but they are mainly decorative for indoor use.. jesse

The manufacturer's response above answers whether you could use it indoors or outdoors. In either case, this is not a window that can be installed. There is no glass. I hope this helps to clarify!
