I am sorry but I don't agree with your opinion on having the t.v. over this fireplace. The fireplace/ stone surround acts as an anchor which balances and divides the cabinetry on either side of it. At all cost I try to avoid having the television over the fireplace so they don't fight for dominance and so the television is at an appropriate viewing height. In this case, the television and floating console were placed at center of seating area (photo is deceiving due to wide angle). Check out some of the other photos to get a better sense of the space.
