Large, Modular Sectional Sofa?

Hello -

Our house has quite a large family room (20' deep by 20.5' wide).

Traditional couches look tiny in this room. We are looking to put a large, quality, modular sofa in this that will allow our family to lounge around comfortably.

I'm looking for something like Restoration Hardware's Cloud modular sofa - but one that is a quality piece that will last for years (not a big fan of RH's quality - and the reviews of that sofa online are abismal).

I really like the Beckham Sectional Soft by Bassett Furniture, we have some of their pieces and have been happy with the quality. Anyone have experience with this sofa? (https://youtu.be/E-JKgvVTkgM)

Can anyone recommend any similar products? I see that Article sells something similar, but I'm unfamiliar with this company.

I'm partial to Lee Industries and The MT company - they have a lifetime warranty on both the frame and suspension. Both of these companies have large scale sectionals that could work. The Lee 5392 has both modular and non-modular options. The MT Oliver sectional is very large scale. Use their retailer locator to find someone near you that can help - or if you don't have one near you, I can help with either of these companies.

We have a similar size family room and used something very similar to the one Claire posted above. It works for us. We also have an armchair since there is enough space for that as well

Stay away from Article for anything you'll use regularly. It's pretty. Design and style is okay, better than most at the price point. The sofa that I have from them has stood up okay as far as the structure goes, but the fabrics are really awful and shed/bead up really quickly (less than six months).

Yes, Clay Strange !!! Too many people have learned that about Article the hard way. Have you seen this thread? You're not the only one. Fyi, once you post your complaint in that thread, the Article social media team jumps into action to save face... so you might want to try to get your money back.
