I would stick with pastels, especially on stucco/adobe. If you're going to make the roof more orange, you can go for a desaturated exterior. You can also add shutters as colour accents on the exterior which might help.

Professional landscaping and a new paint job would work wonders on this attractive house. The new paint can have much lower contrast between trim, accent features and the walls. Will you be keeping the windows and doors at this point? IIRC, Miami has hurricane safety requirements.
