I purchased a cutting listed as: "Hoya 'Metallica' aka Noelle" from ebay late in the season last year... and unfortunately it did not make it. The cutting did not seem that strong when it arrived and despite my best efforts it died.

SOOOOOOO in my search for another I have found lots of info on 'Joy' and 'Noelle' and mixed info for the name Metallica, with it appearing for BOTH hybrids. Does anyone have more info on this? Opinions?

Hoya Loas x Hoya vitellina = Joy

Hoya vitellinoides x Hoya vitellina = Noelle

I did find an established 'Joy' on it's way to me from Beastlyflower... so I'm very excited about that! Regardless of it maybe or maybe-not being the one referred to as Metallica. lol
