I use a 7-drawer office desk. In fact, 2of mine came from second hand furniture store (I have 3 Emb machines set up). They are my faves...lots of storage.

I bought a very old teachers desk. The pencil drawer holds sissors, ripper and various notions, the side drawers, needles, feet and could hold a lot of thread, but I have too much for the drawers. I really like the "return" the thingy that pulls out. It was suppose to be used to write on, but I use it when I have to remove the hoop and cut around in the hoop projects.

No recommendations for particular brands, since we've made a DIY one.

We bought a dining room table at the local store for $50. My hubby cut a hole in it, and used carriage bolts to suspend a platform under the table to hold my machine (it's Brother PE535, here you can check the size). I've also added a small cabinet to store my stuff here.

The best $50 bucks we've ever spent!
