Any ideas from talented people out here?

I hate the faux on these cabinets! I just had it done . I had it done to cover the picked oak custom cabinets from 1986. It had wear on it but I feel this looks worse. Spent my budget & not happy. Any ideas on what would go with this ? To take. It from a design mistake to a fabulous room?

Doesn't look that bad to me. If you really hate it, paint it the trim color and they will just blend in.

The painter spent a few days doing this . I have strange colors going on in the room . Trying to pull everything together while keeping my furniture & spending minimum. Want to sparkle it with accessories. My fireplace in this room is white ( wood/marble) . It's got a crack in it. I was thinking to cover it w tiles that would match or accentuate the faux cabinets. Am I confusing everyone? Lol
