Nothing like a 'little bit on the side'. I bought a plant from a nursery, not for the plant being sold but for a volunteer that had come up in the pot. The volunteer has multiplied really well, the 'bought' plant is still only a single.

I'll have to keep an eye out for "bits on the side" lol..the squirrels in my wooded lot plant acorns everywhere..unfortunately it's usually not in a good spot..

I'd love to have a $ for every volunteer tree I've had to pull out because they were in a bad place, although I needed them elsewhere. Even a $ for every volunteer tree removed that I don't ever want anywhere, LOL.

the same here..I wish I had some of them from years ago..they might be attractive and a decent size by now..
