I have an awkwardly laid out small front room that I would like to use as a possible office/desk space and seating area. The pics are of the space before I moved in and I have used the arrow and circle to show the area I am referring to. The opening to the kitchen is what is making the layout hard. I also have three windows on the exterior wall along with one on the opposite wall. Lots of natural sunlight and I would love to make good use of this room! It’s really too narrow to put a couch or love seat in front of the windows. I included a pic for how I had it arranged before deciding to redo. The long wall next to the door opposite of the space will have built-ins going in and won’t be a focal point and the area next to the breakfast bar is where my dining table is. I’ve included some pictures of the space and would appreciate your feedback, especially if you have examples of a space similar to this! I’ve searched high and low and can’t find a good solution I love.
