It's always disappointing when you get something other than the expected. There are people who are content living without expectations. I don't understand that mindset and have reasonable expectations of everything. With seed grown adeniums, that's a recipe for disappointment. My new motto with adeniums is "Remain hopeful ... Hold expectations lightly." I'm learning to apply that to life in general.

My first batch of seeds 2yrs ago i bought 270 seeds from a supplier all pink he has since replaced them but I'm not holding my breath for a better results pick your supplier carefully. Its a long time from sowing to flowering :×)

I agree ... buy only from reputable hybridizers unless you intentionally want a garden of pinks.

The 1st two blooms shown are from KO seeds and the 3rd from Kukuan (AdeniumCenter). My point is how similar these are in coloration, all single petal, gradient, with a color concentration stripe at center petal, even though they are from completely different parent blooms.

Perhaps this could simply be explained as reverting to the genetics of the original adenium "Eve" bloom (pink single) with a touch of the color blend intended by the hybridizer.

I'd hang on to that last one. The center stripes are off-center, it's kind of neat
