This variety has been around for a long time, though only now becoming widely available. Does anyone have experience with it in zone 3 ? My zone rating has now been bumped up to zone 4 (-30), though it sure in the heck is a tortured zone 4 at that! I mean generally we receive early autumn frosts / snow and very long drawn out winters. With that said, 'Wyoming Black' tends to do quite well. I gave 'Munger' a try and it appeared to have wintered just fine, canes were supple and it leafed out and began to flower, though slowly dried up and totally croaked, possibly it had perished for reasons other than winter kill, as the roots of the plant had been covered with plenty of snow for the entire winter.

Don't know if I'd get a primocane crop from 'Ohio's Treasure', such might be too late maturing, though sometimes there's a bit of a harvest on some primocane red raspberries. Anyways, if there's anyone from northern Minnesota or other such really cold places that could say yea nor nay to 'Ohio's Treasure' it would be appreciated ... other recommendations are also welcome!
