Ok, so I know I asked this question last year, but I never did get around to doing anything with it due to budget and time. This year I HAVE to get it done.

I live in northern Mississippi. This hill is on the north side of my house, so it's fairly shady. We do go through a drought period starting the second half of summer.

I NEED an awesome weed suppressor, and I don't want to have to mow/trim it.

I'm basically down to two contenders....mondo grass, or asiatic jasmine. I think I'm leaning towards mondo grass, but I worry about how invasive it will get and if it will eventually start creeping into the lawn below the hill.

Please help me decide, and tell me if there's something else I haven't considered that would be better than either of these two options. Thanks.
