It might be dropping leaves from the stress of shipping. It should be starting a new growth soon. Do you see a green lump at the bottom of the cane anywhere?

James, it says Dendrobium Pink Stripe X Pink Blush. No, the only thing is that tiny green pseudo bulb in the last picture.

It is a warm growing (Phal Type, Hard Cane) Dendrobium, easy in South East Asia, Hawaii, Florida and places with similar climates. Temps needed are similar to Phalaenopsis. See if you can find some culture notes written for Northern USA.

You might have it potted too deep. It appears to my eye, the new growth is coming up under your potting mix. Pull away the top sphag and take another picture.

You don't want to bury the plant lower than the cane. Should be at the top of the roots.

Not sure, but another pic without the sphag would be helpful.

Also, where are you growing this? What are the light and temps?
