Vanity Sink - Help

I have two 24 inch vanities put together. I installed a 14.5 inch round sink which i realized was too small for the counter/vanity space. I also had it installed too far from the front of the counter. The faucet was installed approx 2 1/2 in from the backsplash (it's a 3/4 in backsplash) and approx 1 3/8 in from the sink. the plumbing has been done yet).

I have two options - remove and get a new quartz countertop OR find a bigger sink that we can cut and install over the existing hole. I prefer the 2nd option!Ideally i would prefer sink with dimensions between 16 to 17 inches. I looked at a lot of models but could not find that many sinks with those dimensions. Any suggestions? I have attached a couple of pictures.

Thank you.

Perfect example of when a contractor has to not be afraid to tell a client "No. We're not doing it like that." The guy who cut that hole knew that it was wrong and didn't have the guts to stand up to his customer.

How about a vessel sink that covers over wrong cutout circle?

look at one of those trough type of sinks. have fun trying to clean that small space around the faucet!

and who actually messed up and cut this ?? sinks should be centered according to it's size and the width of the counter.

even if you told me to do that, I would have informed you that the sink would end up too far back and showed you the correct placement.

I unfortunately only said that the second option sounds better because it would be a lot cheaper but all in all it’s best to purchase a new countertop.

you told him to center it. does that look centered to you??? center means middle of countertop/middle of sink.
no. it's not centered. his fault. he's responsible for the new top. (I sure hope it's written somewhere). speak to his boss.

Why would you think it’s your fault you did nothing you gave the right answer he obviously didn’t know how to how to center the sink and mark it before cutting.
