Greens/Yellow in a small print would coordinate well.

You could also find a greige that is similar in color to the flower outline.

A round mirror or art that accentuate the lines of your headboard....color of the curtains would be either the color blue of your duvet or the color of the line inside the flowers

Yes, very rare and so difficult. I can see the blue in duvet but the other colors I really can't identify - I see the color I just don't know what color it is. Claire said the line inside the flower - well I have no idea what color that its. If you tell me green - I'd go ok I'll look for greens and hope the designer doesn't call it some odd ball name that I can't figure out if it's gray, green or brown! Then I bring a couple of choices home and see which one I like best - may not always been the "right" one but it is my home and DH says if I like he will too. That being said - actual color names work best for me.

I would go very simple with breezy white light curtains / sheers. If you want to be able to block light, I would do a double rod with a linen curtain in the same shade of gray that is inside your flowers on the comforter, over the white sheers.
I would find other ways to add some interest to the room. If you can see and like Blue, I would add pops of navy.

Ps yes the insides of the duvet flowers are a grey with no colored undertone.

I would go with the color you can see for your drapes. Either the blue in your comforter or white is always safe. I would use floor length drapes on all the windows. I know the grommet curtains are suppose to be out, but I find them the easiest to open and close. I like the fur pillow you have on your bed.

The colors inside the lines of the flower is taupe it’s like brownish grey and also you have a patterned carpet.

I like the idea of pulling a color from the inside flower (gray you say!) of course I'll get my DH to confirm I picked on that's close to the color. I have a lot of blue and yellow in my house as its the colors that I don't have problems with. Thought I'll admit some blues I choose are purple! I'm so jealous of you ladies who can say blabla color with undertones of bla !

Long drapes for the double window but what about the 2 side windows? I am planning on getting taller bedside lamps. I'm not a huge bed pillow person but thought maybe a couple or 3 that coordinate with the drapes. (and yes the fur pillow -Izzy - is a fixture on the bed)

I would do full length curtains for the side windows. It will provide a nice backdrop for the decor on the nightstand. Alternatively, you could get some of that frosted window cling in a fun pattern to make the window appear to be etched.

So far you have done a great job picking things that "match". My husband is severely color blind so I sympathize. Because the windows near your bed are an odd size, I would pick a curtain color close to your wall color. Anything contrasting is going to emphasize the window shape.

You can add interest with texture or a small pattern that reads solid. Tans, greys, greiges, taupes, etc. are tough because the often have different undertones that could potentially clash, Do you have a friend or relative that can come by and check out any new drapes or fabric colors before you put them up? You need make sure they work with the wall color, carpet and bedding.

My DH asks me if things match all the time. When we were dating and before I knew he was colorblind, one of his favorite outfits was a red shirt and green pants. I always puzzled about it. When I found out he was color blind, I asked him if he knew the pants were green. Poor guy always thought they were khaki tan :)

We agree with doing plantation shutters to match the trim in your home and then getting white sheers for the rest of the windows.

We are thinking of these- the blue may be too light - but what do you think of the grey? The white says it is velvet which I think would be too heavy

Claire Larece its been a slow processess . summer called and I had to go to the beach. But I did find drapes that go with taupe in the duvet cover, then I was at a antique store and came across the 2 pictures and the mat matches the drapes and I just love the frames. I had the stained glass in another room and put that above the headbord. We are ordering shutters that match the trim for the 2 small windows and been checking Home Goods for taller lamps . I still don't know what to do with the wall with tv . Hub just doesn't want to hang the tv . Thoughs

I think it looks great so far! I think I'd put a leaning tall mirror to the left of the dresser, to the right of the chair. You can find one with a fun ornate frame. Then maybe a tall vase (milk glass?) to the right of the tv on the dresser. You don't really need to decorate the wall surrounding the tv if you have other elements on that wall that fit better than art would anyway.

Looking good. Don’t feel like you have to put something on every wall. The eye needs some place to rest. One item i would add is a faux fur throw in white or off white folded and laid across foot of bed. Or a “bed skirt”. A light look at end of bed.

Everything looks good I agree with Flo in not needing to place on every wall.
