It is much easier to match a colour of paint to a carpet than the other way around. I would suggest if your are redecorating your bedroom from scratch start by finding some bedding you like, consider the furniture, headboard etc. are you keeping them or buying new. Once you have these things in place then select your carpet and finally your paint choice. Don't rush the project and then you will save yourself some frustrating shopping and hopefully avoid some costly mistakes.
