Dining Room Lighting Fixture

Hello! I'm trying to find a lighting fixture that fits in our dining room and could use some ideas. Here is a photo of the room. My husband hates things that are too modern (ex sputnik) but I'm trying to keep things looking fresh and interesting. I'd like a darker finish on the fixture and our ceilings are low so I'm trying to keep it under 30" in height.
