This is a broadleaf papaya tree that is dropping leaves about as fast as it can grow them. As the leaves age they get these peculiar brown patterns. Soon after that the leaf will yellow and fall off. The new leaves look very healthy. Because the spots all seem to look the same, it looks like some sort of parasite. I have examined the whole plant and can't find any insects on it, or any explanation. Any ideas?
