My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Wow, very nice! And very late blooming... at least compared to my camellias down here! They are now finishing their blooming and yours are now just starting!!! Enjoy the show. The bloom colors remind me of a Debutante that I used to have.
Nice open bloom, Darren. I like the formal double blooms too but do not have too many because of my weather. Those bloom forms are typical of japonicas and their leaves suffer from sun scorch in the summer so I have to give them shade by 11am to 12pm. With little shady spots left, I am forced to get sasanquas instead. Those tend to have smaller blooms,... very few have formal double blooms.
I have a White by the Gate that gives a formal double white bloom and Lady Van Sittart, which gives a formal single "orange-y" to "red-ish" bloom, although it is supposed to be a striped bloom. ;o)
I am in north central Texas. In between the Dallas & Fort Worth Cities.
