Need corner fireplace design help

I need to figure out what to do with this corner fireplace and am looking for some suggestions. TV placement will be over the fireplace because there aren't any other options, window banks surround from both sides. We took the ceiling off and vaulted it to the roof line, so our main living area is full of angles and different lines. Sorry for the poor lighting in the first picture, we don't have any windows in yet.

My design style is a mashup of contemporary/modern/industrial with a little rustic? Or maybe just simple with clean lines is a better description. Walls will be Dorian Gray in this room (rest of the house very neutral as well), with white trim. Brushed nickel and black fixtures, and Coretec LVT flooring in Sherwood Rustic Pine (there's the "little rustic" part). Lots of natural light in this area.

My contractor and stone fabricator are thinking something like this, surrounding the fireplace in a simple stone then adding a thick frame around with a darker stone.

I like the look, but I just don't know if it works with the corners angling out and the peak at the top of the corner. However, the only alternative I can come up with is something like this, with a simple granite or quartz to go across the bottom and sides and a mantel (something a little more modern) separating the bottom half and top half.

I want the stone be something simple, so it doesn't clash with our kitchen granite, which will be visible because of the open floor plan.

So option 1? Option 2? Or something completely different?
