Engaging Buyer's Agent in Varied Areas

We are interested in relocating but are unsure as to how to proceed with a Buyer's Agent. In our history we've engaged with a Buyer's Agent within a specific area, and we signed an exclusivity agreement.

However, this time, we're open to many different areas (all within Massachusetts) so are wondering how to do so. If we get an agent who is in one area, would he/she be privy to (and knowledgeable about) advance notice in other areas in the state? Is there a possibility of having perhaps 3 agents, all in different areas? Of course that would mean not signing an exclusivity contract.

Given the current market, we are hoping that we can find someone (someones) who can alert us to homes coming on the market before they hit the "public" sites. All we're finding on our own are homes that we aren't interested in. We need someone in our court, but don't know how to proceed since we're open to multiple areas of the state.

Thoughts? Questions? Thanks!
