Ok, thank you! Could you explain the difference between the inset and full overlay panels? I tried a Google and I'm not sure I'm understanding.

Ask at the kitchen forum but I think you need the 800 series for the panel ready integrated.

For a mid-level line (inset), figure $400-$500 for oak stained. For a higher end, custom line with beaded/flush inset, it will be more than that. If cherry, maple or other wood, add some. If painted, add some more. See the inset DW panel below. It's basically a cabinet from w/ non-functioning door without the cabinet box behind it. So it's more $$$ to build. Most of the cost of a cabinet is in the front, so it makes sense that panels like these are $$$.

I'm a DIY cheapie. You can get a tin ceiling panel (the Armstrong kind) and have it attached to the front of your DW for about $50... Won't match the cabinets; might look just as good.

Cheap and sure will look that way too

We charge 45 sq foot for panels

Or just buy the 800 series in stainless steel: a better, quieter dishwasher that looks great.

And don't forget the handle. As I discovered for my panel ready refrigerator, the panel ready models don't come with handles :-) - at least not the refrigerators.

Thanks everyone!
