Leave them alone. They will send up some more leaves. Leave the old damaged ones on for as long as you can stand to look at them. They still can provide the plant with food. Hopefully the new leaves will hide the old damaged ones as soon as things warm up for you.

Yes they will survive but some of the Hosta leaves may be lost. The Brunnera will be fine. Both are resilient. If you have more frost coming you can cover them with pots or cardboard boxes weighted down so they don't blow away. Take them off in the morning unless it is still frigid for the day. p.s. what confuses me.. is why that lawn still looks completely dormant.. but the hosta are up that far ... be interesting to know where you are ...
