Furniture Design Dilemma Polls

Can you spot the difference?

Other than the texture and the price, can you tell the difference between these two beds?

And if I don't mind the texture, I should just buy the teen version, right?

PBTeen ($519, free shipping) : https://www.pbteen.com/products/girls-beadboard-basic-bed-and-trundle/?catalogId=91&sku=150412

PB ($699): https://www.potterybarn.com/products/beadboard-bed-simply-white/?catalogId=84&sku=8536346

Thanks!

Look the same to me...

And I really doubt that Pottery Barn would bother using one better and one lesser manufacturer for the same looking bed. It just doesn't seem a likely scenario.

Plans for a DIY version...probably sturdier..

Totally agree that the DIY version is probably better, but we're not DIY people. Thanks!

I would want to check the exact dimensions, description of the type of wood used, paint finish, place of manufacture for each before taking the leap! If they are the same, or different but workable then by all means go for the cheaper one.

I think the color choices are what's different.

Most likely the same exact frame with a different finish. Makes sense from a production stand point. The kid and teen lights are a lot cheaper too.
