How was the metal ceiling hung?

How was the metal ceiling hung? I have been wanting to do this in my basement, but wasn't quite sure how to hang/mount the sheets of metal.

    Hello. "The metal kites" were attached to the ceiling via basic wire that is connected to a wood frame on the topside of the metal, subsequently to ceiling rods that were there from prior use.
