the Tilebar 3x8 Portmore Glossy White is a great choice. The less color, more texture will be beautiful with white grout. Nice glossy finish to reflect the light, once you move in all the daily mess, a nice simple finish will be perfect.

The shade over the sink will add interest, mount the header all the way to the ceiling.

Get a long runner to fill the floor space. not just a mat in front of the sink.

IMO some color for sure a nice aqua or green glass tile might be a nice addition . Whites are tricky and often not worth the hassle.

Depends on if you like color or prefer subdued more monochromatic.

If you want to add a bit of color you can look into a very light blue/gray.

i agree with Lyn. i had to work with a counter in my new Florida home. I chose a cream with a wavy finish to it.

Do you have under cabinet lighting? Hopefully yes and then test your samples vertically under that lighting…. zellige tile seems wrong. Your kitchen feels more cottage style.

White shaker cabinets and white/gray counter tops with veining--there are literally thousands of photos of this exact kitchen, especially with white backsplash tiles. Do a Houzz or Google search for ideas.

I’d take some a straight on picture of each wall with the lights on during the day and upload those to a site that has a visualizer. (Tilebar is one, and there are many others.). Play around with colors, shapes and layouts to see what you like, then order samples. (A few samples for each color.)

You might fall in love with a color, pattern, or shape (like star and cross, or picket, or whatever) or you might decide that your current samples are what you love after all.

But a visualizer is a good starting point, especially if your tile has a lot of variation that isn’t seen when you just have one tile.
