My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

A couple of catasetums

I got these two last winter from a couple of the major orchid shows here. It's been a bit of a learning curve but now I'm addicted to these strange, beautiful blooms with their amazing fragrance. If only they lasted longer than 5-10 days...


Ctsm Lovena (Ctsm fimbriatum x Ctsm Susan Fuchs):


Lovely sweet perfume unlike anything I can compare to, strongest in the morning.




Tag says "(Pileatum x Derstedii) x (Orchidglade "Yokohama"). Not sure if this is entirely correct as googling "derstedii" doesn't yield any relevant results. This didn't turn out as dark red as I was hoping for but makes up for it with large flowers that have an interesting medicinal scent with a distinct hint of spearmint.
